31st December 2013, the last day of the year and most important fact that it was a HOLIDAY. The alarm beeped at 6.00 am .. but why today ? I had set it for an entire week no thanks to my self rescue precautionary steps ..
Deciding to do something productive at least on the last day I geared up to clean our home and give it a bright sparkling look.
Checklist before mission began
The equipment were ready ( Cobweb stick, wet cloth, broom, etc.)
Surgical mask worn (am allergic to dust)
The hair (Richest Ornament of Women) tied up .
The mission began and went on for an hour. Almost done I rested on the couch , closed my eyes and sighed.. GOOD MORNING JU .. Did I actually hear that right ? Yes I did .. The Husband was up .. so EARLY ? at 7.00 am .. was my watch fine ?
He landed next to me on the couch with a wide grin.
Me: Tea ?
Arjun (my Hubby): No . But Ju it's the last day of the year and we would be partying this evening
Me: Okaaay
Arjun: Will you be in saree and let your hair down ? let it be free no clip nor band pleaseeeee? You would be incredibly beautiful Ju trust me.
Me : huh? Saree is fine but the hair .. it's in a mess. God knows how many times i'l have to wash it and I have no to time to visit the stylist.. impossible Arju :-(
